It seems that itch.io still does not support upgrading your purchase. From two months ago:
"However, each payment is distinct, so it’s not possible right now to “add more” to an existing payment to unlock additional content. So, as you described, if they would like to unlock an additional tier they would have to buy it again at the total price, and request a refund on their first purchase."
Ah, so I'd have to get a refund for my original $5 purchase for my $10 purchase to actually work? Jeez, not actually sure how to go about that, admittedly...
Yes, it seems that you can refund both $5 purchases by contacting itch.io and purchase it once for $10 (or the other way around). It seems that in this case they mostly accept the refund. By the way this issue is completely itch.io's fault. The itch.io developers have agreed that it is an issue since 2016 but never actually bothered to solve it. This is an issue for every game that offers multiple payment tiers.

The game is so fun to play especially the combat system making it easy and challenging as well when you don't have good equipment. Even though the game is not fully complete the quest that in the game are good, regarding some bugs or error in the game, there are quite a lot.
- Gallery doesn't update, even though I've played the quest with their conditions, sometimes it doesn't update.
- Sleeping in the inn, I've tried all the options, and all that work only is the 6hrs one, which I think the only thing you really need. The other options doesn't sometimes works.
- Dungeon and Time, when i tried to do the dungeon one time , then suddenly its night time. There is a way to fix it in the game by just relocating yourself.in other places then it will fix.

Thank you for your comment. All bugs have been fixed in the new version. The gallery cannot be opened entirely, because 1 scene has been removed (but it will appear in the future), and some scenes are taken from events that have passed a long time ago. But don't worry, they'll be back soon!
I found this error associated with time. Error will occur if we change the time on night (midnight not in operation) then go to the cave area and return to any area, the time will return at noon. This error is in version 0.4 and I hope it will be corrected in version 0.5
I'm loving the game, the art, history and combat is all perfect. The witch and the arachne are my favorite characters, the strong personality and how powerful and cruel they are in a way... it's amazing lol. LOVED THE GAME
Im at version 0.4b and the game sometimes hangs and freezes my phone takes a while for my phone to auto restart but the gallery resets and i cant advance in any sex scenarios like seriously 🤣 won't allow me to advance on other options during the date with the sister for example
As far as I know, if you paid $5, then you can get any product for $5 or less on this page. If the game costs $10 and you paid only $5, you won't be able to get it. But don't worry. Time will pass and there will be discounts.

2. A more refined battle system, I suggest a system like Lophis Roguelike
