So my guess is, and this is quite cynical, but, I suspect they've given up on the itch.io version, now that the Steam version has gone live. That's all they seem to care about at present, given their recent update posts, which, is actually quite annoying. So I wouldn't be holding out for them to patch the latest itch. updated version to the app for a while, if at all.

We where really happy to support the developer and are super thrilled that the full release is finally out. But as many others here we now have the problem that we can only download up to v0.84 and not the v1.03, unless of course we pay 10$ again. Is this a problem with itch.io or something else? That the developer is answering to the positive comments or gameplay questions but not to comments about the 1.03 download problem leaves the impression that this issue is not a coincidence.

In addition, Gold Brooch should give you Meditation Skill, not Knowledge Anatomy which is USELESS and not functioning at all. How can you guys messed this so badly??? This was fine in 0.80 patch, but now it become rushed and bad updates. I'm sorry to say that I dont like this game anymore because it was fun on way back then, but now its just another bad updates without even fixing them correctly.
I need you fixed this issue with the HP and Enemy Skill placement because if you tried to fight Bosses or Spiders, you cant see them due it was obstructed by your own cards.

If you bought it for the discount price. Then you have to wait a little longer. 1 to 2 weeks. Not the creators fault. Itch considers your discount to be a lower tier for some reason. Kinda ridiculous if you ask me

I also got this game on discount and every time there is an update I have to wait about 2 weeks to be able to play. $10 tier allows you to play on release, $5 tier means you own the same as the $10 tier but you dont have the benefit of playing early
Yeah I paid for this game when there was a 50% deal so I only had to pay $5 but they upped the price to $20 so I don't know if anyone that paid for the $10 will get the latest update
Try to clear your cookies. relog into itch and see if it's there. If it's not, contact them directly. Hope this fix your problem. (This happened to me before with a another game and I had to clear my cookies to get it to show up. I followed the email link for my purchage page)

As I understand the answer there, you cannot increase your initial purchase price and have to "buy it again" for a higher price.
This sucks, I haven't even played the older versions yet and now have to pay full price (well, full sale price) for the complete version again.
