Dakimakura
Dear friends, hello to you all!
The team and I continue to work on the upcoming Christmas / New Year’s DLC, and we’re also trying to realize some of our other plans. This time, we’ve come up with the idea of making “dakimakura” body pillows with characters from the game on them. However, before we launch into making them, we’d like to check in with you about the idea. Would you be interested in purchasing a dakimakura for your home? If so, what size? What price would you find reasonable, and which character would you like to have on your pillow?

OH DAMN. My Dakis are almost always 150cm
I use mostly 180cm x 60cm, most of the time i pay around 90 to 110 quids for the size and 2way Tricot
Standard sizes are 160 cm x 50 cm OR 150 cm x 50 cm.
The typical fabric used in dakimakuras is usually a variant of 2way Tricot (which is itself a type of spandex). The most popular fabric variants in Japan at the moment are Lyctron (exclusively from A&J) and Aqua Veil (a slightly cheaper variant of Lyctron but slightly more durable from my experience).
As for the price, I think 75 USD would be reasonable for a 160cm x 50cm dakimakura. There's a site called Dakimakuri that partners with various artists and makes and sells the dakimakuras if you're interested.

And no, I am not affiliated with them at all. I saw their BOOTH shop and got interested because I was looking for some Xenoblade 2 Nia dakimakuras.
